(Supposedly with the highest standard of living in the USA) Thousands invested in maintenance and upkeep done on this car within the last 2-5 years through a reputable mechanic. Engine is in excellent running condition with no oil burning, smoking, knocking, or any other Alfa Romeo related issues. Engine pulls strongly through its full rev range and the transmission is an excellent companion to the power plant shifting smooth and crisply. An excellent exotic car for everyday driving. This car is an excellent car needing nothing but an owner. It is best to buy a car where everything works from the start and has documentation than to buy a cheap car and have to chase annoying problems which can be an expensive proposition. It is also in unmodified, original condition! This is a fine Italian car that you will wake up and look forward to driving. Considering that all the work has been done for you, you needn't fear driving this car back home or on an everyday basis. Truly, a fine car at a reasonable price! Note that there is a significant difference between the 1991-1993 models and the 1994-1995 models. The 91-93 models came with 12V engines whilst the 94-95 models came with 24V engines. Exterior as well as interiors have been redesigned. The newer model years also had numerous upgrades including stronger structures, suspension enhancements, improved electronics with much fewer "stepper gear" problems, and other noteworthy upgrades. Plus, the 24V engine power is always nice to have and given that the 24V engine was used well into the 166 models, it is a proven engine for a flagship car! Extremely unusual for an Alfa Romeo!!! -Fantastic transmission. NO grinding, no clutch slipping, no difficulty shifting even in cold weather. See the video for proof. -No modifications outside of maintenance schedule -Engine compartment clean and well-kept -No accidents in history -New suspension components make the car feel tight and nearly brand new! -Tight steering, no slop (thanks to new steering rack bushings) -Taut, original riding suspension with many brand new components giving the car a rattle-free, fresh riding feel. -NO unusual suspension noises AT ALL -Very interestingly, the ABS works perfectly! Exterior: -Incredible body and paint -NO delamination, NO issues with clear coat (an Alfa common problem), no discoloration, no ugly eyesores -Few IF any parking dings. I cannot find any actually. -Not a sign of rust to be seen on the body at ALL -No rust on chassis -Chrome in breath-taking beauty -Wheels are adequate but not great as they have scratches on them and have slight discoloration. They do not exhibit any curb rash on the edges. -Tires are plump -Glass is excellent. -Paint, again, is majestic. -No rust no rust no rust. Interior: -Leather seats good, never guess they were 19 years old. No rips, no holes, no pet damage, no cigarette damage, not patina in my opinion. -No missing plastic trim -Electronics work except for rear right side power window. All other windows, power locks, seat controls and all other electrical items work perfectly. -Even sunroof works which is very unusual for an Alfa Romeo -Radio is an upgraded JVC head unit compatible with IPODs and CD. I do have original radio and CD changer if desired. -Boston acoustic speakers bring sounds to life. -Electronic climate control display and stepper motors work which is absolutely miraculous. -Carpet near perfect, suitable for eating off of. -Trunk is clean -No unusual smells and no signs of unusual activity. -Strictly a non-smoking car.Final Note This car is in great condition but please be mindful that this is a 19 year old vehicle and therefore, your expectations should be realistic. It is not perfect, and car does not come with a warranty from seller, implied or explicit. On the whole, Alfa Romeos have a mystique aptly described by Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear BBC.
