This vehicle is a 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe. It is powered by a 218 cu. Chrysler Flathead 6, mated to a 3-speed manual column shifted transmission. The electronic system is still a 6 volt positive ground system that is powered by a generator, run through a mechanical voltage regulator, and wired through a vintage aftermarket ammeter. I am selling this very fun car because I am planning a cross country road trip that, frankly, is better done in a more recent car. I bought the car a short time ago in Tennessee, and drove it down from the mountains about 400 miles without any problems save for a defect in the charging system that became apparent later into the drive. However, I experienced no mechanical or heating issues, nor did the vehicle burn oil; however, there does seem to be some blowby from the breather tube. Mechanically this car is sound, simply needing a refresh of all its components. I have been driving it a few times a week to get groceries and run errands. This car does need work on the body. The drivers side fender has some advanced rot, but it's isolated in one area. However, overall the body is in good, original shape. The same goes for the interior.
