Vehicle Detail

I was building this rare '35 Convert for a friend, but he's having money problems so he's having me put it up for sale! The body on this car is absolutely gorgeous with only one patch panel that I can see which is on the passenger rear door, and it's a quality repair! The windshield has been chopped 2 inches and the rest of the body is basically stock. Floors are beautiful and it's never been rusty. Most of the body work has been done and it could be gloss painted with less than weeks work. It has a running chassis with a 1940 V8-60 engine! Motor runs great and is completely bone stock. It has been converted to Juice brakes and they seem to work fine. Clutch and transmission are good but will need a shifter. The radiator is nice but set up for small block chevy so will need to be converted back to flathead. I have a complete steering box, column, and standard steering wheel with key and locking mechanism. Wheels are 1940 Ford and 600 16" tires. Tires are used and would be fine for around town use but not for long distance. The original plans for this car were to make it into an early style custom (like the one pictured) but it could go either way at this point. The back can be raised more or lowered more very easily. I do have the original seat springs as well. The car is missing the winshield but is the same as cabriolet. Also missing window regulators, windows, garnish moldings, and two of the door latches. I believe the door latches can be bought new. The hubcaps pictured are just for mock up and will not be included in the sale of the car. This car could be on the road very quickly! This was going to be a Carson top car but we never got to that point, so no top Irons. Also, the title was lost for the car but I have applied for an new one and it should be in the mail within a few weeks. The car can stay at my shop until the title is in hand so not a problem with that. This car comes with what is pictured with exception of the seat springs. Please email me if have any questions of what the car will need and I can make a complete list. This is a great opportunity to own a rare car! Please send me a message or call me with any questions. The car is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
