I know little about this car, I purchased it as "runs and drives with clear title" for my son to restore but his job changed and that is no longer feasible. I had the guy who does my mechanical work look at it, and this is his take on what condition the drivetrain is in. Looks to be a crate engine from GM with an aluminum manifold and a Holley 4 barrel carburator. We both looked at the underneath and it looks like the transmission was changed along with the motor. It is very clean on the outside, shifts like new and the fluid looks new. Same with the motor, no smoke or blow by, strong running and a look into the oilk fill opening shows very clean also. The interior is beat, and it looks like someone welded in a new floor board on the passenger side. Some of the original trim parts are missing, we think it was being set up for street stock but don't know for sure.
