Vehicle Detail
Greetings, Up for bids is a good running 1999 Honda Accord. The car has over 250,000 miles on it, so it is not a pristine vehicle. However, with a little work, it should be good for at least another 100,000 miles. I am the original owner, and I have loved this car for all its running life, and it shows. Below are the good, bad and ugly about your next car: Good: Yes, it has a lot of miles. Most of them were highway miles. I am consultant, so I have been either driving to the airport or driving an average of 200 miles a day to one site. I have been anal about getting all services done at the dealer, and all of the service records are available from day 1. The timing belt and water pump were replaced on time. Most of the mechanical things are good, too. The engine starts right up, however, it does use some oil. Exhaust is solid, CVs are tight and so is the suspension. The smoke free interior is in great shape, with no rips or cracks anywhere. All the buttons work, A/C is cold and it is a really comfy car. The battery is new. We replaced it after the pictures were taken. Bad: Tires - they have been on the car for a long time and should be replaced. The transmission will lag slightly if you really get on it. The check engine light is off for now, but it will come on again after a long drive. Sorry, I couldn't pull the code but it relates to emissions. I think it's an O2 sensor. The car has spent most of the year sitting (hence the non-current inspection). Ugly: There is a dent in the front of the hood. It is all cosmetic as you can see from the hood up picture. The only thing good about it is only the hood is damaged and none of the bumper or lights. This caused under the hood to look discolored and nasty. There is nothing leaking from anything, it is just oxidation from the hood not sealing. The other damage is under the car. I ran over a stump and it scraped the bottom. The damage is limited. I didn't hit the subframe and it didn't go through the floor. The floor is solid and he has been driving it this way for years. You are not going to be Fred Flintstone with this damage. I have no reserve on this Accord. The interior and body alone is worth the opening bid. If you have any questions, feel free to call me at (856) 287-0162. If you are a scammer, don't bother, I know the tricks. I'll answer your FAQs here to save you and I the time: I'm not going to accept a Travelers Check for X thousand more than the price and give you the difference I will accept cash, Paypal or certified check. You will not get the keys and title until the money is in my account. I will not end this auction early and do the deal outside of e-bay. I'm not shipping your car to BFE until after your certified check clears. I'm not driving the car to you so you can see it. If you want to see it, I'll set up and appointment with you and we'll meet at the WaWa at Rt 73 and Brick Rd in Marlton, NJ. If you have negative feedback or less than 5 feedbacks, call me first to prove you're legitimate. I don't need any help selling the car. The car is located in New Jersey and ready to go. The title is in hand and ready to be signed over to you. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
