Vehicle Detail
1974 Porsche 911 Targa Very clean, nice and honest 1974 911 Targa. Runs and drives great. Excellent sound. Starts, shifts, drives and stops as it should. California car from new until 2005. Car has been in North Carolina since then. The car had a decent respray years ago. It looks very good. Its not a showroom paint job currently but looks very appealing and age appropriate. Two small rust bubbles as seen in photos.Interior is in very nice shape. Dash is in good shape and Targa top works well, doesn't leak and looks age appropriate as well. Service records from 1984 until present. Extensive service and maintenance including complete engine overhaul, clutch, brakes, alternator and much more. Car has 166,670 miles Engine code 61463004 Paint code 117-9-1 Light Yellow Please email with any questions. I have additional photos that I can make available.Shipping assistance available. Car is located in Hillsborough, NC. On Dec-22-14 at 09:49:13 PST, seller added the following information: Additional information about the car: I made a mistake on the engine number listed above. The engine number is 6146304 and that is the engine number not the engine code as previously stated. The last service on the car was performed 11/2014 and included a valve adjustment, oil and filter change, spark plugs and filters. Brakes were exercised and system was bled. Checked cylinder head studs - all good and torqued. We have detailed service records and a summary of repairs since 1984. Please let me know if you would like a copy. Car includes Carrera chain tensioners. I have also been warned about saying the Targa top doesn't leak because it seems most do. This one appears to be in good shape and fits well.
