1987 911 Turbo Red with Tan Leather 139K miles One family owned since new. This spectacular car was purchased new at Alan Johnson Porsche in San Diego California and stayed in San Diego its entire life. The car is completely original throughout. It has never been updated or modified. There have never been any accidents and the original paint is very nice on the entire car. The gaps and shut lines are as nice as when the car was first sold. The leather seats show some wear, but have no rips or tears and reflect the pride of ownership that the whole car shows. The beautiful paint is a testament to the quality of the Porsche factory, and original paint cars are definitely the most collectible. The original books show service back to the beginning. There are almost 2 inches of service records showing the car was well mantained its entire life. The tool kit is present as well as the jack and original unused spare. A top end job was completed. The car runs fantastic, it starts right up, does not smoke at all even if it has been sitting. The engine runs cool and has great oil pressure. There are a couple of oil leaks, but nothing major. I would not hesitate to get in this amazing car and drive it accross country. It recently passed the very rigorous yearly California smog inspection which testifies of the healthiness of the motor. The motor idles nice and steady and sounds great The clutch works smoothly. The transmission shifts flawlessly, with no grinding up or down at ant speed. The transmission is the very desireable limited slip model. The underside of the car is clean and straight with absolutely NO rust anywhere. The car is a pleasure to drive, with thrilling performance that the 911 Turbos are known for. It does get alot of attention, receiving thumbs up where ever it goes. This car carries its iconic 16X7 and 16X9 inch Fuchs with nearly new tires. The brakes are amazing as this car is known for its braking as well as its acceleration. This is an opportunity to own a legend that is quicky appreciating. There are many examples for sale between $100-$150K, but none this nice for under 50K.
