1960 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. Nice un-restored driver that shows very well. This is a non-numbers-matching car. The rear end is original, the trans has been replaced. The engine casting # is 3849852 which is correct but with teh wrong date code. This car runs and drives very well. The engine sounds great and has plenty of power, which makes this car very fun to drive. The transmission feels like it is new. It shifts smooth, has no gear whine, and no play in the shifter. The brakes work very well for original brakes and stop the car better than I expected. Even at 80 mph, this car is a solid driver. The interior looks original. The seats, door panels, and dash are very nice, but the carpet has some fading between the seats. This car is equipped with both a hard and soft top. The hard top is good, and the soft top looks almost new. The bumpers and grille are very nice. Most of the mouldings are nice except for a few small dings. The frame is good, with no signs of prior rust issues. Thebody looks good, and it has been repainted several years ago and maintained well. It still shows well but it does show it's age with minor chips and scratches. The left front fender has had previous repair, but I do not see any damage anywhere else on the car. This is an excellent car that shows well and that I would be proud to drive anywhere.
