Vehicle Detail
Hi everyone, I have up for sale my grandfathers 1901 Ford Horseless carriage Prototype. This vehicle is truly one of a kind. This is a exact replica of what Henry Ford built in 1901 before he produced his first vehicle in 1903. The car is actually a 3/4 size replica first built for executives at Ford in 1958 by a guy in Ft Lauderdale named Captain Al Starts. He called his company the 'horseless carriage corporation' and only built 'em from '58 to '59. So, it's about 55 years old. Its just sitting here and its time for a new family to love and cherish it. This sweet little beauty has been in the family for a long time and is going to need a good home. It is in almost perfect cosmetic and mechanical condition and mostly all original, even though its 55 years old. It runs like a top and handles surprisingly smooth and can do 35+ mph. This car has always been garaged and trailered. This is a perfect affordable Christmas gift for collectors, an awesome Birthday present, also great for car shows, parades, car clubs, town cruises and even picking up groceries around town. !!!
