Thank you for looking at our auction. ATV: This listing is for a 2011 Honda 250X Sport ATV with Reverse, Electric Start, and Honda's SportClutch. The 250X or 250EX as it used to be known is a legendary ATV and has been the beginning ATV for many pro riders. It is without a doubt, one of the great sport ATVs of all time. The 250X is a very peppy 4-stroke that is a blast to ride and will literally last you a lifetime with regular maintenance. It is oil cooled for simplicity and one of the most durable sport ATV engines ever made. The 250cc engine is backed up by the awesome SportClutch transmission. The SportClutch allows new riders to learn how to use a fully manual clutch without worrying about stalling, while also giving experienced riders the freedom to shift as they normally would. So basically you can shift gears with or without using the clutch and the engine won't stall, even when it's in gear and you're stopped! The best part is that, unlike many other sport ATVs, this quad has reverse. Reverse is something no ATV should be without in our opinion. Additionally these ATVs are shaft driven so there are no chains to adjust and maintain. If you are reading this you probably know about Honda's legendary quality. We get to work on every ATV out there and the simple truth is that Honda's are simply a better made product than the competition. Of course it does come with a clear title. Condition: This machine is in great condition. It doesn't come standard with a speedometer or hour meter. While we can't tell you how many miles or hours on it, this is a very solid ATV that has been well maintained and looked after. The engine is perfect and fires immediately. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. It revs perfectly and runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, tie-rod ends, etc. The wheels are in nice shape and the original tires look like they have plenty of tread left. The plastics are in great shape with ZERO cracks or broken areas and just a few normal light trail scratches. The only blemishes are that the exhaust baffle has been removed and the seat has two very small holes in the outer cover. The holes are only in the outer vinyl cover, the foam is still intact. We have even provided a picture below so that you can see exactly how small these holes are. Anyone would be more than excited to own this quad and it's going to last them a lifetime with just simple maintenance. Everything on it functions exactly as it should. A new one just like this would set you back around $4499. This one looks great, runs like new, and is a chance to get all the features you want at a great price. Details:Overall this is a very nice ATV that will make someone very happy. As for transaction details, We are MLS Powersports, located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington, KY and 75 miles South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check, or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you pick this ATV up in person, we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax. We will provide the winner with a KY Certificate of Sales tax paid. When you title this ATV in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax. (Except in West Virginia) We do this all the time, do not worry, you will not have to pay sales tax twice. If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exemption for farm/agricultural use. If we ship, it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is. Canadian Bidders: We sell many ATV's to Canada because it saves you a lot of money. We know the paperwork requirements and what it takes to get it done. However, it is very expensive to have an ATV shipped from door to door due to customs broker fees. If you pick it up yourself or have it shipped to a border town and do your own border crossing you will save thousands vs buying in Canada. We also have a shipper we can direct you to who has many warehouses along the border where it can be shipped to and stored until you pick it up.
