Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. The car has 103,013 miles on it, and has an issue with the oil pressure. When the car warms up to operating temp the oil pressure drops, if you rev it a little the pressure rises to normal. I changed the oil level pressure sensor but i still does the same thing. The car idles fine. I was told it is probably a clogged or defective oil pump but I don't have the money to get it fixed at the moment and i do not want to drive it with an oil pressure issue. Aside from that the car ran flawlessly. I've owned the car only a few months, i would love to keep it but I do not have the means to fix it at the moment. I have put in a lot of new parts:Front + Rear RotorsFront + Rear PadsNew spark plugsnew air filtermobil 1 synthetic oilnew TPSnew IACV Buyer is responsible for pickup and you are more than welcome to come checkout the car before placing a bid.Bidders with 0 feedback please contact me prior to bidding. Thank you.On Dec-19-14 at 18:48:13 PST, seller added the following information: I just want to elaborate on the oil pressure issue. I've had a lot of inquiries on the car today and I'm not sure if I explained it clear enough given the line of questioning I've received. I have added 2 more pictures that explain what I meant by the oil pressure dropping. The needle goes all the way down. The picture with regular pressure is when the car is just turned on, the other one is after it has warmed up, the pressure drops. The car doesn't sound irregular during that time. If you tap the gas the oil pressure goes up. I haven't let the car idle much longer after the pressure drops or have driven it due to fear of causing further or any engine damage.Furthermore, I had to jump start the car today because it has been sitting for a few months and didnt want to start right away. I am trying to be as clear as possible, I don't wish to mislead anyone or scam anyone. I don't know for certain the extent of repairs needed, like mentioned in listing I was told it could be a faulty oil pump. I had an interested party say he/she had gone through something similar and needed a new engine. I do not know if this is true but I don't want to mislead anyone. Again, I don't know if its an oil pump or something worse, I just don't have the means to do any repairs at all. This is why i encourage everyone to come see the car in person but if you're an out of state buyer I would like you to be fully aware of this. This car needs to be towed. Thanks for your interest.
