You are looking at a 1996 Ford F-250 Supercab XLT 4X4. It is powered with a 7.3L
Powerstroke Diesel V8 and automatic transmission. It is equipped with power windows, power locks, tilt, cruise, am/fm/cd player,gooseneck hitch, and receiver hitch. Also included are the owner's manuals .
The interior of this truck is in overall average shape for the age. The seats are in good shape ( no tear, but there are some wear marks along with the plastic drivers seat piece is loose). The carpet is in good shape ( we took it our and had it professionally cleaned ). The headliner had a couple small tears.
The exterior of this truck has some wear and tear from being used as a truck for the past few years. I took a picture of the dents on the bottom drivers door and their some dent on the tailgate. Also there are some scratches and scuffs here and there too. The windshield is in great shape .
Mechanically, this F-250 starts up and runs smooth. It usually takes a minute or two on a colder morning, but it runs smooth with no blowby. I did notice it will drip a couple drops of oil if it is parked somewhere or left running for a few minutes , but no massive puddles . The transmission was rebuilt around 300k miles as you can see in the receipt . Even though it was rebuilt more recently I will say it shifts rougher than normal and probably will need a service of some kind, but I don't think an overhaul. The a/c compressor will need to be replaced if you would like the a/c to work ( a/c clutch is bad). Also I would like to add we noticed it will need a new serpentine belt.
The front end appears tight and showed no uneven tire wear. The four wheel drive functions properly.The tires are in good shape.
Overall opinion:This is an older truck that has seen it's better days. It's a $4000 truck so if you are expecting a $40k truck this may not be a suitable choice for you .It's alot of truck for the money,has some flaws, and will need some minor things addressed if you want to make a daily driver.
