Vehicle Detail

Now is the best time to buy a Porsche, and this is the best one to buy. Why a Boxster and not a 911? Value. From the seats forward they are the same car, better balance from the mid-engine design, more storage space with dual trunks. 911's at this price would be 3-years older and have 100,000 miles. The Boxster S was rated the best sports car by Fifth Gear (youtube search "Boxster voted best sports car fifth gear"), a perennial Car and Driver 10 Best, Excellence Magazine rated the 986s one of the top ten Porsches of all time, Autocar magazine rated best roadster in the world, and a Consumer Reports most reliable car. Why a 2003 Boxster S? 2003 was a substantial update year for the Boxster. These updates include: Variocam - Increased power and torque Glass rear window with defroster Now includes a locking glove box! Clear headlight and taillight turn signals Revised bumpers Redesigned cup holders that are now useable with Starbucks coffee! Why this particular Boxster S? After a lot of research, I purchased the car 4 years ago with a warranty from the second owner directly. The warranty allowed me to maintain this car to the highest standards without regard to cost and fix even the smallest of issues. In the past 20K miles the following work has been competed, most common for a Boxster: New clutch. While the clutch was replaced I also upgraded the IMS bearing as preventive maintenance (Deduct $2k for Porsche's that don't have this important update) and updated rear main seal. If you don't know why this is important, google "Porsche IMS" CV boots replaced Window regulators replaced Power steering lines and reservoir replaced Brake pads and rotors Air oil separator Belts New Tires 5k miles ago It's also has all the best options totaling $7,030: Porsche Stability Management - $1,235 (I would not own a Porsche without stability control) Bose High End Sound Package - $1,625 (Actually hear the stereo with the top down!) Cruise Control - $570 18" Light Alloy Carrera Wheels - $2,920 Heated Front Seats - $410 (extend your top-down season with toasty seats!) Wheel caps w/colored Porsche Crest - $175 Floor Mats, Black w/Porsche Lettering - $95 This car is very well sorted out and meticulously maintained, stored indoors, and not driven in snow. Includes books, service records, both keys, and tool kit. *Photo shows tow hook cover missing on front bumper. I removed it to clear out some wax residue and forgot to put it back in for the photos. Drive it year round with snow tires, heated seats, and stability control or make it your summer toy. Feel free to call me @ (six zero three) six six one - six two eight eight
