Up for auction is my 1971 Volvo 1800E. I have priced this car very reasonably to move it out of my garage. It is not a "Project" and is ready to be enjoyed now. This car is extremely original and virtually rust free. It had a very high quality respray over it's original paint several years ago and it is holding up quite well. The seats have been recovered in soft black leather. They look and feel terrific. It has had filters and fluids changed and is running very well. The odometer shows 17,113 miles and it would not surprise me if that is accurate. The dash, carpet, glass, trim, backseat and headliner are original and in excellent condition. The carpet shows no significant signs of wear. The upper dash has no cracks and the lower dash has a small one at the steering wheel. The instruments all work and it has the original Volvo radio. The radio was working until a month ago. This car is unmodified. The steering, clutch, brakes, exhaust, transmission and overdrive and lights all work properly. The car is a lot of fun to drive. It has new tires, trim rings and reconditioned wheels. It has a fifth alloy wheel as the spare.There are new exhaust tips along with new rear emblems, backup light housing, side view mirrors and front grill surround. There were two small areas on the front lower frame that had a professional repair completed. No other repairs done to this car. The underside is very dry and rust free. The paint is excellent for a driver. If it were any nicer, it would be a show car and you would not want to take it out on the streets. There are a couple of minor blemishes with the most serious being a scrape on the right front fender. See photos. And speaking of photos, this car looks a lot better in person than it does in the photos that I have posted on eBay. I had poor lighting along with a low quality camera. This car can be driven and shown as it is. Feel free to come for a personal inspection or have a third party do so. Please have all of your questions answered before you place a bid.
