This 1971 Bronco Sport is uncut, classic (besides the front bumper, role bar, steering wheel, door panels and radio) and ready to be turned into your 4x4 dream machine! With a 3 speed manual transmission ("three on the tree"), 302 V8 engine, 4 wheel drive and locking hubs, you can go practically anywhere. Comes with a role bar and front, beefed up bumper. There is some rust as shown in the pictures. The seats are original but not in good shape. The backseat is in pretty good shape except for some splitting at the seams. All seats have seat belts. It recently sat in a garage for 4 years because of a bad starter. After replacing the starter and putting in fresh gas, the bronco fired right up as if no time had passed. This engine has always amazed me with it's dependability, even in cold weather. I bought this vehicle in Montana in 1996. Not sure of its history before that. The odometer reads 13,098 probably is 113,098. I used it as a commuter car around town and to go into the back country. After a couple of years I garaged it and only took it out occasionally when we would head up into the hills. I have tried to capture the rust damage the best I could in the pictures. There is a small amount above and below the wheel well on the driver side but the passenger side (not shown) is clean. The driver door latch on the door was starting to weaken so we reinforced it with the washers. All the doors are straight, line up and the mechanisms are in working order. Extras- Bikini top (I have never used it). 1990's amp, stereo and 2 sub-woofers. Still sound great! The wires hanging from the dash in the picture are from the stereo. The only modification I have made is a new composite rear gas tank in 1997. Everything else is stock (besides the front bumper, role bar, steering wheel, door panels and radio) allowing you as the buyer to install whatever power systems you want! I love this truck and am sad to have to sell it, but I hope it will make someone else's dreams come true.
