Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1947 Willys-Overland CJ2A and an additional motor, front and rear axle, and transmission. I purchased it in 2003 with plans to restore it, but never got around to it. I did, however, do enough work to get it running. The engine runs strong but it hasn't been driven in at least a year so it will probably need a battery charge and some starter fluid in the carburetor. Overall, the body is in good condition with some minor rust, mostly in the floorboard and the wheel wells. The tires are all-terrain style with weather cracks but do not lose air, windshield has one cracked glass panel and tandem manual wipers, windshield to hood clamps, original rear-view mirror, original tailgate, clear up to date title with matching vin number, original Carter carburetor, all original gauges and speedometer, choke and throttle knobs and shifter. The electrical system has been upgraded from 6-volts to 12-volts and a new wiring harness has been installed. The additional parts were purchased from a guy who had extras after finishing his restoration and they are from a '46 or '47 CJ2A. I bought them along with a transfer case that has already been installed so the 4-wheel drive works as well. This Jeep is 95% original and all of the additional parts are complete and functional. No warranty is expressed or implied. Delivery or pickup transportation is the responsibility of buyer. Vehicle will not be released until all certified payments have cleared. 2.2L, 2197CC, 134In3 4-cylinder GAS L-HEAD, Naturally Aspirated**The true mileage of the vehicle/engine is unknown.
