Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 2000 Mazda MPV Minvan I have had this vehicle since 2006 which I purchased off of Ebay. Equipped with snow tires on all four wheels. One wheel has a bent edge of the rim as can be seen in the pictures. The snow tires on the front only have 1 season on them. the others will get you through a few more winters. The sale will include an additional set of wheels for the summer, as can be seen from the picture. The summer tires on them need to be replaced. Once these tires are replaced, you will be able to change the wheels in your driveway or the garage without having to mount and balance the tires each change of season. The alternator and transmission oil cooler have been replaced. The battery will need to be replaced. The exhaust is leaking from the y-pipe or one of the manifolds. The exact location of the exhaust leak is not known. There are no check engine lights on. The engine runs a bit rough at idle and up to around 2000 rpm. Perhaps the fuel injectors need to be cleaned. Runs and drives well and has no fluid leaks. The body has some scrapes and scratches on it, particularly on the rocker panels and bumpers, and some rust around the rear license plate area. Rear MPV logo is missing. The inside edge of the underside of hood is also rusted, but not much is seen with the hood shut, please review the pictures for more details. The paint and body looks good considering its age. The left sliding door handle on the outside is broken at one end but it is still usable. The rear sliding doors have child locks that will prevent anyone from opening them from the inside if so desired. The van has power windows in the front and side doors. This makes riding in the back much nicer. What also makes riding in the back nicer is an aftermarket flip down DVD player has been installed in the roof. It will play through the FM tuner on the stereo speakers, or it will also work with infrared wireless headphones that you can get through amazon around 20 each. A remote control and a manual for this is included. It is a significantly larger screen than you get as a factory installed item. Also, the rear occupants are more comfortable because they can control the temperature as well as the fan speed for the heating and air conditioning with the rear seat controls. The van has seating for seven, three in the back, two in the middle and two in the front. The center seats can recline, and the right side seat can be slid to the middle of the van or it can be at the side on the tracks in the floor. The rear seat folds flat into the floor, and it can fold backwards so it can be used for tailgating/picnics. The middle seats can be removed so you can haul things with it. Floor mats and carpet are a bit stained in places but usable. The van has a class three trailer hitch installed. I have pulled utility trailers, a small boat, wood chippers, and log splitters occasionally. Its also great for hitch mounted bike racks. The roof rack has cross bars on it and it is great for things like Christmas trees, ski racks, bike racks, canoes, kayaks, ladders, lumber, pipe, or whatever long items you need to carry. The exhaust leak is most likely the only thing that will be needed to be fixed to pass state inspection. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
