This is a beautiful condition RARE Jaguar XJ6L (Long) finished in brilliant oxblood red over biscuit tan Connolly hide leather. The colour combination is quintessentially Jaguar and looks stunning! This is the long wheelbase model with the factory extended rear doors suitable to be chauffeur driven. There were only 203 of this sub-model created between 1995 and 1997!This XJ6L is a Florida car and is now showing 117,541 original miles; far below average for this year. The XJ6L is the ultimate of the XJ series (X-300) and represents one of the top of the line in luxury for Jaguar in its year. The 1996-1997 models are noted among enthusiasts to be amongst the most reliable Jaguars produced in recent history! It is indeed a very well looked after example. The XJ6L boast's full leather interior (including door arm-rests, map-pockets console, etc), unique burl-walnut wood and teak fine lines on the dash and door cappings. It has full length console to the rear, chrome, courtesy lights, all of which are unique fitments to the XJ6L series.The interior of this example is in very nice condition with the burl walnut looking beautiful without chipping or fading! The clear lacquer finish on the wood has only a few hairline marks but is otherwise excellent. The Connolly hide leather seats are factory condition soft and supple in better than average condition for this year with no tears. There are no cracks in the dash or rear parcel shelf. The interior truly is stunning and is very clean and true throughout!Mechanically the car has been well maintained. The car drives smooth, strong and quietly. Recent maintenance included front bushings, brakes and general service. There are no warning lights on the dash. Every single instrument, feature and function are in working condition.The paint is in very nice with only minor imperfections and small marks and there is no rust anywhere on the car! There is a small scrape that is is about three inches square on the left rear bumper and also there is a small piece of chrome that is missing from the right front bumper; both can be corrected for under $200. The paint is very shiny and consistent and presents beautifully for driver use.This is a spectacular Jaguar XJ6L with low miles and makes for an excellent everyday or weekend driver. It exceeds average condition examples and comfortably rates as a virtual 8 out of 10 driver condition which earns it regular compliments.Please note, this is my regular daily driver so miles will vary at time of delivery. I have driven this car cross country many times, through many environments and have never had to call for service once!
