Cars2Charities will provide all California buyers with either a Smog Certificate at the cost of $60 (paid by the buyer) or a "certificate of non-compliance". Smog test will be done after vehicle is sold and determined that California buyer has purchased the vehicle. Please call after you purchase the vehicle to request the smog test be made. THE VEHICLE WAS DONATED TO A LOCAL NON PROFIT. HERE IS THE INFO: 4 CYLINDER 4 SPEED THE CAR IS RELATIVELY COMPLETE, BUT IT DOES NOT RUN. IT WAS PARKED A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AND IT HAS NOT BEEN STARTED SINCE. IT DOES NOT HAVE A BATTERY. THE CAR DID RUN WHEN IT WAS PARKED 2 YEARS AGO. THE OVERALL SHAPE OF THE BODY IS GOOD, NO RUST EXCEPT FOR LIGHT SURFACE RUST AND NO DENTS ON THE CAR. THE PAINT IS IN PRIMER, AND WITH A LITTLE SANDING, IT WILL BE READY TO PAINT. THE ENGINE IS COMPLETE AND AS I STATED, IT RAN WELL WHEN IT WAS PARKED 2 YEARS AGO. THE INTERIOR NEEDS WORK, SEE PICTURES. Payment and Fees: Each vehicle will be charged a $150 buyer fee on top of the winning bid. After purchase, a $150 deposit must be paid through Paypal within 24 hours of purchase. The deposit must be made on Paypal even if you are local and will be coming in to pick up the vehicle yourself. The balance of the winning bid and buyer fee will be paid at the time of pick up if you are local. All payments except the deposit will need to be certified funds only. This is: Cash, Cashiers check or money order. Delivery of your purchased vehicle: Vehicles must be picked up within 3 business days of your winning bid. If vehicle is not paid and picked up, a storage fee of $10 per day will be assessed on the purchase. If you are making transport arrangements with Cars 2 Charities, you will not be assessed a storage fee. Please call to make arrangements if you are having difficulty picking up the vehicle.
