Vehicle Detail
The Pontiac V8 combo is back in the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP, a 303-hp, 5.3-liter V8 sport sedan that offers a bit of family practicality and personal fun in one package. Paired with a 4-speed auto tran only, the 2006 Grand Prix GXP sits on larger 18-inch alloy wheels and performance tires, and comes with the full complement of ABS brakes, traction control, and stability control. Dual front and side airbags, a tire monitor, foglights, and daytime running lights are also standard. The GXP also features the unique heads-up display, which projects car information onto the windshield so you don't have to take your eyes off the road.Another feature beyond what you find on the GT are TAP shift paddles on the steering wheel. The 2006 Grand Prix GXP also has leather seats, an 8-way power driver's seat, a trip computer, cruise control, OnStar, 4 disc CD player, full power accessories, keyless entry, and leather trim. The Sport Package is not offered with the GXP, but some options include heated seats, head airbags, a CD changer with MP3 playback, satellite radio, a navigation system, sunroof, and dual-zone climate control. On the GXP, you can also get leather seats with suede inserts. Drivers say the GXP has great power, a smooth ride, and superior handling, along with subtle sporty looks. The heads-up display is a big hit. Body is excellent with a few shopping cart dings, tires have approximately 2/3 tread left, motor strong, transmission shifts flawlessly, all power items work. One owner, always garaged and not smoked in. Transmission has been rebuilt to GM specs or better with a heavy duty torque converter by a franchised transmission shop. I will deliver for expenses (gas, traveling expenses (meals like fast food) within a day's drive (300 miles) if needed. Otherwise you can have the car transported or of course come and pick it up.
