This is a car I took in on trade and was considering doing some work on it but I have had it sitting on the back of my lot all summer and I need to clear some of them out. I am a BMW enthusiast and have owned several e38's over the years. I will tell you everything I know about this car. I believe it has over 200,000 miles but some of the pixels on the odometer are burnt out (a very common problem on these cars). It definataly needs a radiator and expansion tank. The car was running rough when I got it but I did drive it around the block a few times and the transmission SWEEMS to be fine. The check engine light was on so I read the code and it said cam position sensor so I bought a cheap aftermarket sensor on ebay because I didn't want to put much in it until I found out if it was going to be worth fixing. After hooking up the cam sensor it wouldn't start, I am not sure why but I know it will run because I drove it. The clear coat is peeling off the hood and a few other spots. There is NO RUST that I can see and no dents other than maybe a few small door dings. The interior is pretty decent for the age, The drivers door handle is broken but the door still opens from the inside, I can't remember if all the windows work. It has almost brand new tires on it. I am selling this car as a project or parts car. These cars will part out for way more than I want for the car. I do have a clear TN title in hand.
