I found this truck in a mechanic's shop 3 years ago. His grandfather had bought it new in 77. Then had spent the better part of two decades in a home. It had 7500 miles when I got it. These are original miles. It now has about 11,300 ORIGNIAL MILES. The truck is like being in a time machine. Everything is original and looks brand new. It runs like a top. The only thing that has been changed is the carpets, they were a bit faded, but we still have them if you want them. The hubcaps had never been put on and were in a factory box behind the seat. Everything, including AC works. AM radio doesn't tune in anything. Truck drives perfect, brakes perfect and runs perfect. We took off driveshaft and fuel tanks and repainted as well as sandblasted and undercoated the bottom of the truck. We replumbed the fuel system and replaced the fuel tanks to deal with the rust. We have been driving it around for a few years and gotten the kinks out. We replaced hoses, flushed radiator, rebuilt carb etc. AC blows cold and heater blows hot. All the settings (defrost, etc) work great. The truck has a few vertical scratches from where people stored stuff in the bed for the better part of 20 years, but it is a very shiny, great looking truck. There is a bit of rust in the bed from where water sat for a bit. See pic. Everything is original except carpet.
