This special 1979 Honda CBX, previous show winner, will turn heads at any bike gathering. This custom bike was built by Jim Zemanek of Cincycycles East in Ohio and features a Big Bore kit 1149cc, K & N air filters, Yamaha VFR polished swing arm, front and rear wheels from a Honda CBR fitted with new Pirelli Diablo tires (110 front and 180 rear), upsized brakes, extensive chrome accessories, Kawasaki alternator conversion, electronic ignition, KOSO electronic instrument cluster, new starter, starter solenoid, ignition switch, and Stebel airhorn. If you are looking for a vintage, rare bike you can actually ride with confidence that it will get you wherever you want to go, then this is the bike for you. Everything is done and this bike just needs someone to ride it every week or so. Original speedo failed at the 35,000 mile mark and I have driven 4,883 miles since installing the new cluster that you can actually read, so the bike has now covered just under 40,000 miles.
