Up for sale is a 1978 GMC K3500 Dually 4wd. This truck spent most of its life in Grass Valley, California and was mostly used for towing a 35 foot travel trailer which it had no problem doing. This is a 99% rust free truck with the only rust I can find is on the underside of the doors. The cab, bed, and front clip are rust free. The frame is solid, never wrecked, and has no signs of rust. The front clip was changed out to an 86 style. This truck needs paint and minor body work, needs wipers, tailgate running lights, has exhaust leak probably at donut. The 454 engine runs strong, the Turbo 400 transmission shifts good, and the 4wd (NP 205, Dana 60 front) works good. It has a posi rear end.
