Vehicle Detail

I got this 73 MGB survivor from an older gentleman that used it as his weekend driver and has owned the since buying it from the original owner in the 70's. The car's last inspection was in 1991 and has been garaged since. The car shows 35572 miles and while the title doesn't reflect that, I have documents for So. Carolina inspections dating back to 1987 through 1990. In 1990 it had 32859 mi and being a southern car, and seeing the condition, I believe it to be correct. According to the PO he says they are original miles. The car starts and runs but requires choke to keep running. The car shifts through all 4 gears and the engine does not smoke or make any noises. Holds good oil pressure above 50lbs. The engine compartment is pretty clean and even the wiring and side walls are clean. The brakes will need some to be checked but shouldn't be a big deal. The e brake works and I'll try to look into the brakes this week. The floors are clean as all body panels with no rust through. Wheel wells are solid too. There is one small repair needed on the driver's side floor near the right rear seat slide. It's weak and needs a small repair. I've done plenty of B's and have never seen a repair needed in this area. Car has wire wheels that will need cleaned but look OK for a driver. Paint is older but thin in some places. It still looks decent. The seats are really nice as are the foams. The top is good too and has a zip out window. I've only been able to drive the car in the driveway due to the brakes but can tell you this will make a great driver with little work and cash. I do not know if all the electrics work, haven't gotten that far yet but feel confident there shouldn't be too many problems. The nice body, running engine and seats are well worth the low reserve. I try to be as honest as I can so there are no surprises. If you are looking for a MGB driver, or restoration, for little investment, this is it. You won't be disappointed. I have the right to cancel the auction at any time as the car is for sale locally. You are welcome to come and inspect the car or call me with any questions at 814-931-0627. I will assist in shipping as long as prior arrangements are made in advance do to my work schedule. Thanks and check the other cars I have listed for sale.On Nov-03-14 at 19:33:51 PST, seller added the following information: I do have a clear, signed, NJ title in the PO's name ready to transfer
