I am the second owner of this very rare, very original car. Overall it is in excellent condition. These cars were prone to rot (that is why there are virtually none on the road)... But this car has almost NO rot or rust. There was a little bit of rust / bubbling along the roofline that was there when I bought the car 4 years ago. In that time it has not progressed. Nor has a speck of rot or rust appeared anywhere else. The original TA6.6 liter 400CI engine was rebuilt so it runs perfect, but it was never bored, so it is still stock shape. The only modification is that the carb was replaced with a brand new Edelbrock (I have the original Rochester quad for you - it works fine, but its just leaky). This is an authentic CAN AM, documented by the Pontiac Historical society. I has the entire brake system from Master Cylinder down to the wheels replaced. along with two brand new Goodyear Eagle tires in the rear. WHAT THIS CAR NEEDS: The Exhaust is old and ugly, so you'll want to replace that. The springs / shocks are squishy. The AC unit was removed before I purchased the car. The weather stripping is pretty dry all around, and ultimately, a new paint job will make this a mint show stopper. That is the car in its entirety.
