You will notice that it has been three years since I have listed anything on this site. I urge you to review my feedback prior to that as a seller and make your bids based on that confidence. I have never falsely advertised or misrepresented anything I have sold. I am not out to cheat any one as I am also a consumer and expect the same treatment and respect. I received negative feedback on the last sale because the buyer had asked me to fix the A/C for him(which I had stated in the ad that the A/C is non functional and I am selling the car as/is because I do not want to pour any more money into the car). Out of good faith,I agreed and spent $800 out of my own pocket to replace the A/C in a $1400 20 year old vehicle. He changed his mind and expected me to refund his $300 deposit. This landed me with the completely unfair and untrue negative feedback. Please understand everything I list is as accurate as possible. I personally drive my vehicles and do not list them until I have had a a few weeks to "get to know them". Anything missed might be a small scratch or minor ding that I did not see. Bid with confidence as I am only trying to rebuild my positive reputation on ebay after the last incident. DESCRIPTION:2004 Volkswagon New Beetle. This a nice car with low mileage and and runs and drives very well. It accelerates rather quick for a 4 cylinder and shifts through all gears very smoothly. Brakes are great and stop quickly in a straight line. The only issues I have noted with this car are the cosmetic aspects. The exterior of the car is in good shape with the exception of the front bumper. As you can see in the pictures the passenger side of the bumper has some scrapes and gouges. It appears that someone had veered off the road and side swiped a curb or something. The rest of the car is in pretty good shape with very few minor dings and scratches. There is a dent in the hood the size of a fist but no paint damage is apparent. Should be able to be popped right out. The passenger side door looks to have been keyed. The rear two tires appear to be brand new but the front ones need replacement. The driver side tire is worn and the passenger side is decent but looks like it was rubbed against a curb. The wheels have curb rash on them. I would rate the exterior to be a 7 out of 10 to be conservative. The interior of the car is a bit worn. The seats are good with no tears or rips, just some minor wear. The biggest issue with these cars that seems to be a common characteristic is the door panels. The driver side door panel is broken and needs replacement and the passenger side plastic pull handle is broken. If you wish to replace both of them, they are available here on ebay for $400(eBay item number:291253013843) but you only need the driver side. The Glove box latch is broken and is secured with a screw. Ebay sells the repair kits designed specifically for this problem for $24 (eBay item number:321309304059).Driver side window regulator needs replacement, also available on Ebay for $38 (eBay item number:130955795753). Head liner is coming apart on the edges. The lever on the driver side seat that pulls out to move the seat forward has come off as well. All power accessories including mirrors, windows, sunroof, stereo/cd are fully functional. I believe the display on the radio is not fully visible. The A/C system works just fine but needs a compressor replacement also available on Ebay for $92 including a brand new dryer/evaporator (eBay item number:131304642998). Spare tire is missing. airbag light is on because the passenger side seat belt is missing the buckle housing that holds the sensor. Overall, this is a decent reliable car that needs some cosmetic help. Like I said, mechanically this car runs and drives excellent.
