This vehicle is being offered for sale by Wolfe Automotive Inc. We are an independent service & sales center dealing exclusively with the Volvo brand. We traded in this 2001 Volvo V70 from a customer, and are offering it here on ebay for NO RESERVE. This car WILL sell to the highest bidder. Someone will get a great deal on a great running lower mileage Volvo station wagon. We would recondition and resell the car for retail price but have decided to take the quick sale and offer it on ebay for much less. We have evaluated the car in our shop and noted the following: THE GOOD: Engine, transmission, and drive train are all fine. Car starts right up, runs strong, and shifts smooth. No strange noises, warning lights, or fluid leaks. Front and rear brakes are better than 50%. Car is PA inspected until 7/15. THE NOT SO GOOD: Car will need 4 tires soon as they are worn low. There are at least one or more chips in the windshield, however does not effect driving. There are multiple scratches & dings, along with generally worn interior. We have tried to show the condition in the pictures. If you can see past the cosmetic flaws of this car, it really is in good overall mechanical condition. The car is sold as-is, and payment will be in cash at time of pick up within 7 days of auction closing.On Oct-30-14 at 14:34:00 PDT, seller added the following information: To clarify the worn interior, the seats are in good shape except for a cut about 4 inches long in the driver seat that could easily be repaired. The defects are mostly in the dealer installed wood grain trim that is faded & peeling, this could be removed. There are not many dings in the car, maybe one or two, but a fair amount of scratches/ scuff marks and a small dent in tailgate.On Nov-03-14 at 19:22:55 PST, seller added the following information: To answer the multiple questions about the timing belt on this car, we do not know the history of it and must assume it is original. While most of the bidders seem to believe that this is some sort of major repair, it really is not. If the winning bidder wants us to replace it, we can install a new timing belt kit for $400.
