Vehicle Detail

I've got two kids in diapers and we are building our first home, so it's time to sell the Mustang. Here are some specs:10/26/2014 This car was re-listed due to a non paying bidder. Hard to find a flashier, more iconic car in this price range. I have a clear Title in my name and have owned this car for 12 years. It is a good daily driver. If you are looking for a good reliable driver for taking cruises with, this car would be great as it is. If you want something to wrench on and possibly do some moderate upgrades that would be great also. If you are looking for something to build into a "Super Muscle" car or street rod, be advised that it may take more work to bring this car to the next level. Has the occasional front brake squeak and buzz sound from the dash panel.1969 Mustang Fastback "vin F" The car has been restored and had several body panels replaced, including; full floor pans on both sides, both quarter panels, both door panels, the tail light panel, sections of the trunk floor, sections of the inner wheel house, rear frame rail sections and the torque boxes have been repaired. The body is straight now. All of the body work was done well and there aren't any dents or dings. 302 V-8 with 4bbl Intake. Runs great with no issues. The chrome on the valve covers has some pitting. Has full tube headers that are a little rustyThe odometer was always working and reads 47,530 mi, but the true mileage is unknown.New 4bbl Edelbrock Carb with electric chokeNew water pump8" rear end with 2.79 ratio. I just put in new axle bearings and new carrier bearings.C4 3 speed Automatic Trans and new Hurst Ratchet shifter. The Trans is in good condition. The only issue with it is that, once warmed up, it will not drop in to Reverse right away. Sometimes you have to rev the engine up slightly before it will go into reverse. I had a trans shop look at it, they said that part of the valve body looked worn. Once in reverse it drives normally. The trans goes into Drive, Neutral and all the other gears normally. Other than the Reverse issue there are no problems with the transmission shifting or slipping. Replacing the valve body is not a major repair job, it can be done with the trans still in the car. Just take off the pan and bolt a new one on for about $350, but at this point it doesn't need to be done.Power steering. I just put a re-manufactured Power steering pump in. The cylinder does not leak but the control valve leaks a little fluid. Power BreaksHas all new wiring under the hood with the exception of some of the headlight harness. The interior is less than two years old with very little use. Had new; carpet, headliner, seat upholstery, package tray, door panels and center console put in at that time. The original dash has a skin put on it. Has a digital radio with an 1/8" stereo aux input that comes out in the center console. There's also a power outlet in the center console. The gauges all work except for the Alternator Gauge. The Fuel, Oil Pressure and Temp Gage all have new sender units. There are no electrical issues I am aware of. Everything works inside the car; Radio, wipers, dimmer, fan. The heater control that changes from "Heat" to "Defrost" is stuck so i left it on a mix of mostly defrost. There are no indicators in the hood scoop.Had all new weather stripping put in around both doors and trunk two years ago also. Has a new front windshield. One door, the quarter glass and the rear windshield are original. The paint color is called Sonic Blue. The exact shade of blue varies a lot depending on light conditions. Looks good in low or bright light. The car was painted in 2008 with PPG professional base coat/Clear coat and has been garage kept ever since. The white stripes are painted on and clear coated over. The paint is not what you would call "Show Quality", but still looks good. Maybe a 7 or 8 out of 10. There is one crack a little over an inch long in the passenger fender(Pictured). The paint has been touched up in a few small areas around the edge of the door. There are some wet sanding scratches that still show throughout. Maybe they could be buffed out if you find someone who knows what they're doing with some polish. Has a new exhaust kit with turbo mufflers. Has a good throaty sound, not too quiet, not too loud.I Just had a wheel alignment done and the car drives nice. You can let go of the steering wheel at 65mph and it does not veer left or right. The Chrome on the car is in good condition. The bumpers and everything on the front grille area is new. The trim around the front and rear windows is original, it has been buffed and looks good. The drip rail has been buffed but is not perfect. The wheels have new center caps and new lugs, but the chrome on the rim has some pitting. The coopers in the front only have about 2000 miles on them and the Kelly Chargers still have good tread.Has 3 point front seat beltsTerms of Sale:0% FEEDBACK BIDDERS AND FOREIGN BUYERS MUST CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING AND EXPLAIN THEIR PLANS FOR TAKING OWNERSHIP OF THE CAR.
