I am selling this 1961 Nash Metropolitan convertible for an elderly friend who is moving into an assisted living home. He and his family decided it is finally time to let someone else enjoy this cute little car. They decided it would be best to have the car mechanically checked and detailed before selling. The car runs, drives and brakes very well as a 71,000 mile car should. Both the brake master cylinder and the clutch slave cylinder have been rebuilt. The car has been in dry storage for over 30 years. The paint is the original Autumn Yellow color, but is very old. It has a good shine but also has some cracks and bubbles. The interior is in good condition and so is the top. The car has rust underneath. Everything on the car works except the original radio. I have 100% positive feedback because I don't exaggerate the condition of cars This car has great potential. The owner is selling this car without reserve as he feels this is the only fair way to sell a car at auction.
