For auction is my 2006 Dodge Charger Police car. I bought this from my local police department. It has 80957 miles on it, will go up some due to driving at times. I have all service records since new. Work done at the local Dodge/Chrysler Dealer. There has been over 30 thousand worth of work done! Most notable repairs is the Dodge Factory Replacement 5.7 Hemi Engine at 53405 miles, total cost was $7619.97. Also a Replacement Transmission was done at 65661 miles with a cost of $3562.50. Complete A/C replacement. The problem is that it has a stalling condition. It first started 7/30/12 with 72632 miles while still in service.When I drive the Charger it will stall for me one or two times,usually in the first 2-3 minutes and sometimes it does not stall at all? When it does it will start right back up. Also at highway speeds the dash light reset with no effect on performance. I talked with the police and they dealt with it for over a year. They said it never left them sit, but stalled for them at some inopportune times. The dealer has replaced a few things for the stalling condition, modules, spark plugs etc. Now they said it needs some wiring harnesses? Since then the police took two Chargers out of service, and sold them.It is a very solid car, drives tight and is very fast. If you would like to inspect prior to end of auction, please let me know.
