You are bidding on a rare classic.This is my 1961 Chevy Corvair Panel Van Conversion that I bought to make into my family surf mobile/ super great MPG weekend camper. I purchased this van for a few specific reasons1. Very little rust (When I say very little, you will find some surface rust on the driver side door and on top of the interior cargo area, I have not found any rust that is deeper than surface rust. No through rust)2. Straight unibody. There is a dented area on forward floor between driver and passenger legroom. there are two small dents in the rear curved under panel.3. Automatic Panel Van. Very rare, most where manual. Panels where popular for businesses to put there company name and logo on the rear panel.4. Most of the camper conversion was professionally done already. This van has cabinetry finished. It had an insulated ceiling that was sagging. The title was lost long long ago. I checked the VIN and this is out f the CA DMV system so there are not fee's due. If you are looking for a fun family fixer upper, a great business advertising van or surf mobile, VW's are fetching tens of thousands, this van has more power and holds up better then a vanegan.
