Vehicle Detail
Helping my widowed neighbor sell her husband's '72 Bronco that has been sitting for about 12 years. Has Colorado plates but she as of this afternoon has not found the title. Looks to be mostly intact but there's some bad rust to contend with and this is gonna be a big project for whoever buys her. 302 V-8, auto trans, lock-out hubs, roll cage, receiver hitch, Yokohama tires (35"?), swing away rear tire carrier, dual gas tanks. Body & roof not too bad and actually pretty straight but the rocker panels are shot and the floor pan on the drivers's side is going too. Under carriage looks decent though. Odometer says 75K but no one can verify that. Please look at the pics VERY thoroughly and I will try to answer any questions as honestly a I can. I have a perfect track record here and want to keep it that way. So please be aware I am ONLY doing this to help this very nice gal out 'cuz she could use the bux and needs to clean off her property for sales purposes....and also because she gave me a smoking deal on her hubby's '72 IHC 4x4 Camper Special (and this one doesn't have title to it either but I really don't care. It's just a bit of paperwork on my part in Arizona and quite frankly if it takes me two hours out of my life, I'll still be a happy camper). So if this kind of stuff bothers you then maybe it's not a project you want to get into. But for the right person this will work out great and help keep one more piece of Americana out of the wrecking yard. Thanks for looking, and feel free to call or text or e-mail me with any more questions..... Regards, Rick P.S. #1. Yes, you'll need to bring a trailer to take herhome. P.S. #2. Yes, I will help you get her loaded up. P.S. #3. I may (repeat MAY) have a friend in town here who's a retired trucker....but has a very nice Chevy dually diesel and a custom built flat bed trailer/winch who just MAY be interested in getting out of the house for a day or three to drag this gal to your place. But I would have to ask first to find out if he'd be interested. Just a possible idea..... On Oct-25-14 at 07:25:26 PDT, seller added the following information: On Oct-29-14 at 11:57:41 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok Folks, in case any of you have not seen the question/remark the other regarding the transmission on this olde girl the other day, I royally screwed up and incorrectly said it was an automatic. But one of our sharp-eyed members here steered me right, and instead it is a 3 speed manual transmission (or 3-On-A-Tree as Miranda & I used to say). How I missed this is beyond me (since I've owned about three dozen 4x4's in my lifetime) but I sincerely apologize for the mistake. And I'll understand if any of you want to recall your bid(s) due to my own stupidity. Thank you for your understanding..... Cheers, Rick
