For sale is an incredibly clean and original black on gray cloth, manual transmission 1991 Toyota Supra Turbo with a Targa roof and the optional Sport Suspension Package. See below for a complete description of the car. I owned a 1986.6 Toyota Supra from 2002 – 2004 and since then I have always loved the MKIII Supra. This car is in amazing shape and is one of the cleanest MKIII Supras you will ever see. Please review the information below and contact me if you have any questions. Car History: I purchased the car from the original owner out of Washington state. The original owner meticulously maintained the car, as evidenced by the remarkable condition. Prior to purchasing the car, I hired a head gasket specialist to check the status of the head gasket. He confirmed that the head gasket was completely intact and that the coolant system held pressure perfectly and did not leak (see photo: “Mr. Headgasket” invoice). I flew out to Washington and drove the car the 800 miles home to Utah. The car has zero rust and the paint is original and is truly impressive. Included with the purchase are the original Owner's Manual, Accessories Guide, Supra Sales Brochure, the OEM Targa tool, the jack (never used), spare tire, dealership service records custom fit cloth car cover, and two sets of keys (the trunk was re-keyed and so is a separate key). The 2001 entry in the vehicle history report that shows the mileage at 90,000 is INCORRECT. The original owner stopped using this car as his daily driver after 2000. The car was NOT driven 50,000 miles in two years, the 2001 entry was an administrative error. This car has 64,000 original miles. Engine: The 7M GTE 3.0L inline 6 Turbo engine is a true classic with good power and great reliability. The engine is completely stock and is rated at 232HP and 254TQ. The original 5spd (R-154) transmission makes for slick shifting and the car is a joy to drive. As mentioned, I drove this car 800+ miles and was thoroughly impressed with the how smooth the ride and the engine were. Even at 23 years old, it has plenty of power and cruises comfortably above 80mph for hours. Also, the engine compartment is fully detailed and looks like new. Maintenance: Since I have owned the car, I have replaced the valve cover gasket and the valley cover gasket. The car does not leak any oil. As with the original owner, only Synthetic motor oil, Royal Purple Transmission and Differential Fluid has been used. The original owner kept many of the maintenance/service records for the past 23 years and worked exclusively with a Toyota dealership for all maintenance. Everything is original and the engine is currently in excellent running condition. Upon passing emissions (on the first attempt and with no extra work done), the attending mechanic told me “you could put your mouth on the end of the tailpipe and breathe” (disclaimer: not actually recommended). The car is in excellent mechanical shape. The only known mechanical issue is a small power steering pressure hose leak. Exterior: The factory original Black paint is really amazing and still has an amazing mirror-like shine and luster. The only exterior issues are two small, dime-sized dents in the passenger door (see photo) and some slight scuffing on the front right bumper (see photo). The original owner also had gray striping professionally installed, which really accentuates and contours the attractive lines of the car’s exterior. The Targa roof panel is in as new condition as are all the trim pieces. The glass is original and free of marks (except VIN etching). The wheels match the rest of the car and are in excellent shape. Tires are Z-rated and have less than 3,000 miles on them. All lights and signals work perfectly. Interior: The interior is also in amazing shape and looks/feels like new. The gray cloth fibers are still plush and deep and the seats do NOT have the worn/thread-bare look and feel of older cloth upholstery. There are no rips or tears in the cloth and the seats are in great condition. The fully adjustable, electronically actuated lumbar support in the driver’s seat is amazing, especially during long trips to make the drive smooth and comfortable. The leather on the steering wheel has some slight fading (see photo) and the leather boot around the E-brake is slightly worn (see photo). The original car-phone was removed by the original owner and the corresponding fastener holes on the passenger side of the central dash have been filled with matching gray filler (see photo). The passenger door has a dime-sized tear in the vinyl (see photo) that has been sealed. The dash, bezels, and interior trim is perfect and all gauges and lights work as new. The original owner replaced the original radio cassette with a tasteful CD/satellite radio unit that is interfaced with the original AM/FM retractable antenna (which works great). The unit was professionally installed (receipts from the original owner included). The car includes custom fit, thick floor mats that go well with the interior. The underlying carpet is not stained but shows some wear. Misc.: The car has its original A/C system which works perfectly. Heat and defrost also work without problems. The Supra is equipped with optional equipment including Anti-Lock Brakes and the Sport Package which includes the electronic modulated suspension system (TEMS). This system features a "normal and "sport" option keypad on the center console and works as new. Auction Details: A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours via PayPal. The original dealership records show the mileage at 51,689 in July 2001, 60,413 in March of 2009, and 62,112 in October 2012...
