repaint bottom many years ago. interior upholstery and headliner very good. Has that typical korean war chrome which as everyone with a 51 thru 54 car knows is very thin and easily pitted. much of the chrome has been replated, but, not all of it. anything pot metal is pitted. rear bumper and guards rechromed recently. front bumper and guards original thin. engine compartment very nice and firewall is 100% original paint. inspection stamps still clear as original. runs and shifts great. in the shop for tune up right now. it has quite a bit of rust throughout undercarriage and there has been some bondo repairs in fenders - probably when repaint happened. floor are very strong with no rot. new radial whitewalls, less than 200 miles on them. won many first and second places at car shows, including chrysler club annual meets. car originally from cape cod. driven from there to NJ. also has been driven to Akron Ohio for national chrysler meet. Moving out of state and must sell.
