Vehicle Detail
1984 Buick LeSabre Custom 4-door sedan in fair condition. 142,000 miles.V8 engine, 307 ci (5.0L), 4BBL. Starts right up and runs quiet. Does not stall, rev up, or do anything unpredictable. Power steering, power brakes, tires, transmission, acceleration all good. Drives fine in town and on the highway. The car has never been in an accident, and has minimal rust. Heat, air conditioning, and CD-radio all work. Title is clean and ready for transfer. The car has been in my family since it was new 30 years ago, and I have owned it since it was at 60,000 miles. Regular maintenance and oil changes, for which I can provide records. CD player and engine temperature gauge installed by a licensed mechanic in 2001 and work fine. Car has been my "daily driver" until recently -- family needed a mini-van, so we have to let this one go to someone who can use it. Burns a little antifreeze after it's been running hard on hot days, enough that you notice it at a stop light but not while driving. Other minor issues: Driver's side door mirror is loose and wobbles inside housing. Windshield wipers can be turned on, but cannot be turned off again until the car warms up. Blinker indicator lights for turns do not shut off automatically after you complete the turn. Back seat on driver's side has a spring wire that pokes up through the cushion if pressed. Exterior paint has small chips, dings, and rust spots Exterior is missing a Buick logo detail. Hood sticks to the frame of the car on one side, and you have to push down on the frame to open the hood. Not difficult, just tricky. Hood stays up fine after this. Interior is clean but worn in places. A few seam rips are covered with duct tape. Passenger-side tail light has a few chips in the plastic. This is a clean, fully running automobile and not a "parts car." It is being sold AS IS, as a daily driver and not as a classic car. Deposit required within 48 hours via PayPal and is non-refundable. The remaining balance can be paid by cash in person at pick-up (preferred) or by mail -- a personal check or bank cashier's check must clear before the car is picked up or shipped out.
