Up for sale today is my 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer The truck is in much better condition than most Expeditions I see of this era. It hasn't been abused or ragged out, and has been maintained well. This truck needs NOTHING mechanically, and has lots of new parts within the past 6 months. I drive this truck every day, and has made 3 trips back and forth to Central Florida in the past 2 months. I would trust it to go anywhere. The Specs: 213,000 Miles 5.4 Liter V8 4R100 Automatic Transmission Rear wheel drive Green Exterior with Tan leather interior Power seats, locks, windows. Rear A/C Automatic Climate Control Mach Audio with CD changer and aux input The good: Runs very strong Shifts great Interior is in very good shape. Leather is clean and free of tears. Drives excellent. Gets reasonable gas mileage. (I was able to average 20.3 on my last trip to Florida) Lots of new parts: New tires all around. Front tires are about 4 months old, and rears were replaced last week. New Shocks, front and rear (Bilstein in front, KYB in rear) (9/14) New control arm bushings in front (7/14) New brake pads in front (6/14) New Pitman arm (6/14) New Arnott Air springs in rear (2013) Air ride compressor bushings replaced Replaced factory subwoofer (Was blown) Both Cylinder heads were replaced in 2009. Engine ejected a spark plug, and previous owner elected to replace the heads rather than helicoil it. The Not so good: One small ding behind gas cap. Steering wheel has small amount of wear where hand goes. Stereo controls on steering wheel do not work. Odometer is erratic. (Typical of these.) It usually comes on after the truck has been on for a while. Rear wiper doesn't work. Just stopped one day, I haven't looked into it. Passenger front power lock is erratic. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Typical dash wear around radio area. Center cap is missing from the right rear wheel. I will try to replace this before the auction ends. Yes, it has adjustable pedals. Yes, the overhead compass / economy gauge works. No, the Radar detector isn't included. It only has Rear air suspension. Front has coil springs.
