This is the last year for the Short Wheel base and is a Good restoration candidate or for parts. From what I have researched there was only roughly 6,300 built in 1968. This is the same body as the 911 and can be converted into a 911 with an engine swap? I'm not extremely familiar with Porsches however I can tell you that this is an Ohio car and again will need a complete restoration ! I have also researched the value of the parts on this car and have valued them at over $5,000 here on ebay and from Porsche parts dealers. I am starting the auction at a FAIR MARKET VALUE price... This car has a CLEAR TITLE IN HAND ready to sell !! The car has the following parts: 1) All of the Glass including Pop out rear windows 2) Original Engine with # 754177 on it ( Engine is missing generator and Fan) What you see in the engine picture of the engine is what is included I do not have any other parts. Engine Number decode is as Follows "1968 (built 67/68) 912 coupe (Karmann) with a serial number between 12800001 and 12805598". The Passenger fender is fiberglass not original and the driver fender is missing. I do not have any other parts for the car than what is in the pictures.
