Vehicle Detail
I have owned this car for 20 plus years - it is a real deal 57 Sedan Delivery!! In that time I have collected up quite a few good parts for it. My plans were to install a Big Block with 4 speed, and the fiberglass 1 piece tilt front end with hood scoop for that Gasser look. I also planned to add 56 210 door and fender side moldings (when turned upside down these match the 57 Delivery quarter trim). Its been a long and tough decision, but I’ve decided its time to sell her, so someone else can build and enjoy her and I can take the funds and invest them in another project. The car originally was a 6 cyl. 3 speed with power steering, but has no motor/trans now. It has all good glass, is very straight, but needs floor work (front pans, small areas between seat and rocker, trans tunnel patches). This car is one of the nicer project cars you’ll find and has incredible potential! Six years ago I paid a body shop $1,000 to install new panels on both sides between the doors and the front of the wheel wells. The previous owner installed Belair wagon (these are shorter that passenger car) crown moldings which are included but are not shown in pics. He also installed a rear speaker switch and Belair dash trim. The frame is a 2 piece box frame with 355 open differential. A driveline is included. Most all of the cargo area side trim is there (includes some extra), although there are three missing Ts. The cargo area floor trim is all there too. Side windows are good with no cracks, go up/down, and vent windows open/close. All doors open/close. There is no rot in rear floor pans, inner and outer rocker panels, door bottoms, and spare tire well. The right fender is bubbling and probably will need a small patch. The car comes with $3,000 in new, restored, and used parts listed below and includes a 1-pc fiberglass tilt front end, cheap heater (for use with fiberglass front end), 65 Impala bucket seats, 56 210 door/fender side moldings. I didn’t take pics of these items, but they are included with sale of car. New Parts (in boxes) Hood bar Tube grill Gold Belair grill Digital Dash Aluminum front bumper tips New smoke side glass - door/vent 56 210 door and fender molding clips Restored (Buffed) Parts Gas door Vertical fin trim - right & left (above gas door) Original Sedan Delivery Parts (Used) Liftgate Liftgate torsion rods/hinges Cargo trim (incomplete set) Rear quarter/door stainless spears (4 pc set) 1 extra liftgate support (missing end) 150 crown moldings (pair) 56 210 door and fender moldings (left/right) I have tried to honestly and accurately to describe car - both what you see and most importantly what you don't see, but we all see things differently. Please ask any and all questions BEFORE bidding - I want you to be happy with your purchase! Sold as is where is! NO TRADES!! I don’t end auctions early - so don’t ask!
