Vehicle Detail
This is the one, there may be a better car out there, but I can guarantee it won't be for sale.A 1987 - the best of all Grand Nationals - all original (aside from the tires and battery, of course) Buick Grand National. This car is registered and was inspected buy Buick in 2005 in Michigan. Buick registry number BGN01066B. 18,XXX miles on this car PLEASE NOTE: I SEE A LOT OF " LOW MILEAGE CARS" , ANYBODY CAN CLAIM LOW MILEAGE ON THEIR CAR BUT THIS ONE HAS ALL THE DOCS TO PROVE IT - all original, none better. The car was purchased in Michigan, briefly moved down to Kentucky and came back north to a private collection in Wisconsin in 2006. You can tell this car was taken care of - it looks like new. It looks better than my wife's 2009 summer only car (and has fewer miles, too)! This Grand National belongs in a museum - I feel guilty owning it.All options work such as, but not limited to: power trunk air conditioner (has just been re-charged with R12, don't ask me where I got that from); all power locks & windows etc; trunk release; power antenna; power seats; dome lights; seat belt retractors; stereo (with concert sound); cruise... and on & on... All weather stripping is perfect and soft as are the bumpers. This car was undercoated when new (all receipts to prove that of course). Car comes with original window sticker as well as with all the stickers on the doors and the trunk lid - they all look nice. Other documents included in sale: original sales brochure, owner's manual, service records (including some warranty service by the dealership). Even under the car most of the tags remain on the wiring. Interior is perfect with almost no wear, even on the pedals. All carpet & upholstery is free from burns as it was never smoked in. The body is the same way; no dents or repairs ever - there is a touch up spot on the roof, this is documented as being done at the factory and a small factory blemish on right front fender also documented. As you can see from the pictures, the paint reflects and is very shiny, no chips in the usual spots. According to the documentation, I don't believe the T-tops have ever been removed. I will not be the first to remove them, I would love to, but if they've never been out they're staying put. This car drives as any car with low miles would; it is perfect. The turbo spools great, brakes and steering are perfect - it drives straight. Transmission shifts hard, just as though the car was new, which it almost is. Interior is very quiet for this car's age because all the seals are in great shape. All plastic and rubber are in great condition as they haven't been left out in the sun. The car has always been stored in a climate controlled location (heat in the winter, AC in the summer). I welcome any inspection, any GM expert, to look over this car to guarantee its authenticity. I am going to take as many pictures of this car as I can but it looks better in person. It is the best I have ever seen - and pure Buick with no mods or damage. This car is not detailed, it is not covered in Armor All or wax, it is hard to believe this car has ever been in the rain, on a dirt road or even washed. This is the one. This car is not for some kid, this is for a collector with only the best intentions of holding one of the best super cars of the 1980's.If any additional pictures are needed, let me know and I can add them. Any questions, call 920-540-9090 - serious bidders only, this is the real deal! Buyer to arrange pick up / shipping.
