1983 Honda CB 1000 Custom. Runs great!! 27,000 miles. Clean original title. 2 previous owners. No real problems. Classified as a Sport/Touring bike. I consider it a sporty cruiser. This bike is a classic but it is faster than most harleys. This model was made with a rare 10 speed range. MADE IN USA of US and Jap parts. It is fairly tall and heavy. Tank just cleaned and coated for rust. Bike looks and runs awesome. Good for gas mileage, touring, cruising, cafe racer, etc. I love how easy this bike is to maintain and keep. Garage kept and stored for winters. Parts are easy to find on eBay for this bike. Little to no rust very pretty bike. Missing only one plastic side panel near battery (just for looks and sold on eBay). Currently in Tampa Area but I am traveling and willing to meet somewhere close The seat that is pictured is not the seat I have on it now. I have a new seat that is in much better condition and has no tape or much wear and the back has a "Honda" embossed into it. The tread on both tires is good but in my opinion the front tire will probably need to be replaced soon due to cracking on the sidewalls. I just rode them like that 2000 miles from michigan though so I wouldnt be too worried. The rear tire is good. The paint is all original but has a few scratches and scuffs in the paint but could easily be touched up if you are experienced or willing to try. The detailing all looks pretty good. I have only owned the bike for 6 months and the previous owner said that the carbs were cleaned within the year. It runs great but I might run some cleaner through it to see if I can get more on the takeoff. The smaller jets may need to be replaced or cleaned but Like I said it runs great and never had problems riding 2000 miles through cold, rain, highways, mountains, and cities.
