For Sale is a 1980 Trans Am that someone was making a 1977 clone out of. It's a 4 speed car with disc brakes all around. Runs, drives and stops but the brakes are a little soft. Frame is solid and the body only has two rust holes, one on each rear quarter between the door and rear wheel. Front clip is solid and straight but just held on with a few bolts as the previous owner had it apart for paint and never finished it. He also supposedly had the engine rebuilt with 10:1 pistons and a special cam...I can't prove any of this except that a compression check did support his claims. The car needs some tlc but I think it could easily be put on the road in a week or two depending on your standards for a driver. A bunch of stuff is packed in the trunk like the mirrors and a set of louvers for the rear window...not really sure what all is in there. Also somebody installed a rollbar at some point, it fits well and could easily be taken out or left in. Let me know if you need any motor or body numbers and I'll get them for you.
