Range Rover Classic LWB in rare Brooklands green. Always garaged and in fantastic condition. I have owned quite a few Rovers and they don't look like this unless they were garaged and well maintained. I bought this truck from the second owner and he stored it away in a heated garage for the last five years. Both owners obviously took good care of it. I have made a few improvements during my ownership - a complete tune up including plugs, eight new fuel injectors, a new idle air controller, fluid flush, oil change and a new battery. Other recent items include a spring conversion, new wipers (front and rear), new Kenwood AM/FM/CD with an iPod input and a remote and a new headliner. The Rover starts right up and idles as it should. Burns no oil and is not consuming coolant. No blue smoke and (hard to believe) it does not drip oil all over my garage floor. I have not even noticed a drip from the power steering system. The brakes have plenty of life left and the rotors are good. The tires are a few years old but appear nearly new. I'd say less than 3000 miles. It truly needs nothing but a driver. I'd take it anywhere with confidence. I feel I have priced it fairly given the condition. You see lots of ads for "perfect, rust-free" Range Rover Classics for two and three times my asking price. I can tell you, there are VERY FEW perfect Rovers out there and this one is no exception. It is very clean and the original Brooklands green paint is very nice. There are a few dings and paint blemishes here and there and the clearcoat on the roof is wearing thin. A little surface scale on the frame here and there but very minor. Solid floors and a very good rear hatch. Again, not perfect but very good overall. A truck you'd be proud to own and drive for a reasonable price. For those with a careful eye, you may have noted the rear view mirror is missing in the photos. It was the autodimming type and had (as usual) leaked all of the fluid. I have a new plain glass mirror and it will be installed in the next day or so. Also, the driver front foglamp lens cracked and is missing. If I can locate one before the auction ends, it will be included in the sale. The Rover is located on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
