I bought this car in 2008 with the intention of finishing the restoration. I have not been able to find the time or moeney to do so. I did find the time to replace the rear end with a rebuilt 8 inch. The 289 was fresh with a large overlapping cam. we put in a used C4 Trans. The body and frame are clean. The only rust is in the vertical sheet metal above the running boards.( shown in pic. ) all wiring has been upgraded to 12 volt and a few gauges as well as a Pioneer Super Tuner with extra large amp. have been added. The glass is all good except for the passenger door glass. (cracked) The interior is rough. The front end is original with a added Possi bar. This car drives straight and goes down the highway well.
