Title: In hand and clean This 2007 Audi A8L is in overall really good condition. The paint shines up great and it has what I would consider to be lower than average wear for it's mileage. I bought this for my wife in January. She's not crazy about it's size and we have kid #2 on the way so we're rocking an SUV now.Features: Dual Pane Glass, $6000 Bang & Olufsen Stereo, Soft Close Doors, 4 Zone Climate Control, Adaptive (Radar) Cruise Control, Sport Package w/ Paddle Shifters, Extended Leather, Comfort Access (Keyless start), Window Shades, Navigation, Satellite Radio, Heated/ Cooled Seats, Heated Steering Wheel, Auto-windshield Wipers, Adaptive HID Lights, Park Assist, Massaging Seats and the list goes on forever. It's basically fully optioned with the exception of the leather dash and rear fridge.Mechanical: Trunk motor does not lift trunk. Trunk still operates like a normal trunk just without the motor assist. Transmission shifts smoothly and shows no signs of any issues. Engine is smooth, AC blows cold and the air suspension is fully functional. We drove this car to Phoenix twice and to San Francisco once. After all the work I put into it I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. The vehicle's main issue is that the intake manifold will need to be replaced for it to pass smog. The car runs just fine as it is but throws a check engine light for flaps in the intake manifold that need to be replaced. It's a simple repair but the intake is $1500. You could drive the car forever without the intake getting any worse but keep in mind that if you want to pass smog you'll need to replace that part. If you're in a state or location that doesn't have smog and you don't mind the check engine light you're good to go.Aesthetics: Scuffs on the lower front bumper from normal LA driving, small scratches around the driver's front wheel and a few small scratches on the driver's door. Small scuff on rear bumper. No dents on the car. Outside is an 8 out of 10 for it's age. Interior is likewise in good condition, probably an 8.5 out of 10. The rubber buttons still have their coatings, everything works, the stereo is sublime and it's clear it was taken care of. The only issue with the interior is the bottom cushion on the passenger seat was re-finished but the dye didn't take perfectly so it's not perfect. The shop said they'd re-do it for free. I just never had the time. The good: Within the last 3 months the car has had the following done: all 8 fuel injectors replaced, carbon cleaning of the intake, oil pressure sensor replaced, various vacuum hoses replaced, intake flap cleaning, intake flap motor replaced, high pressure fuel pump replaced, low pressure fuel pump replaced, fuel rails removed and machine cleaned, fuel filter replaced, fuel pressure sensor replaced, cam sensors removed and cleaned, new battery, oil change and more. This all cost about $5000. Our intention was to keep the car for a long time but baby #2 is on the way so we bought an SUV. This was not neglected though. Other good things: condition is above average, mechanically car is sound, no dents or physical damage. It's a 2007 so more horsepower and no timing belt. Options like the B&O system, adaptive cruise control, soft close doors and dual pane glass are very rare. The bad: The passenger seat isn't perfect, the trunk motor is weak and you have to lift the trunk up an inch before it works. The front rotors probably should be replaced soon. The car stops fine and they're not grinding but they have a little shimmy sometimes. It's under $100 for a pair of rotors so it's just good insurance. This is by far the cheapest facelift (2007-2010) A8 in the LA area and I'm asking for it what most people here are asking for the much more troublesome 2004 - 2006 models that require regular timing belt changes, have less horsepower and you can't get the B&O system on them. In the entire country the cheapest A8 with the B&O Stereo is $22,000 and it still has 110,000 miles on it. The cheapest 2007 A8's are generally more than I'm asking, have similar mileage, and don't have the options or documented work. In other words, this is the one you want. :-)
