Starting with a 100% Henry Ford Steel vehicle, the builders of this beautiful 1940 Ford 2 Door StreetRod made sure body was first completely flawless and free from any sort of dent, wave, wrinkle, ripple, or rust. The door and trunk handles were shaved off to give the body cleaner lines and door poppers were installed. The vehicle was painted correctly in a 3 stage process in Copperhead Orange and the paintwork is beautifully accented by subtle pin striping work on the hood and trunk. Looking in the photographs, you can see close-ups of these details, as well as notice the reflection of the photographers in the mirror finish. The depth and perfection of the paint truly makes the lines of this 1940 Ford 2 Door StreetRod pop. Under the hood sits a Chevy 350 V8 that has been fully built and dressed up to provide not only reliability, but raw horsepower and a true American Muscle Car / Hot Rod rumble that you would expect to see out of a Street Rod with a nickname, " COPPERHEAD." The power-plant looks like a diamond ring in a velvet jewelry box, when you pop the hood. It is mated to a 350 GM transmission to provide plenty of power to the road for decades to come. The brake system has been upgraded to power front disc and rear modern drum. So that the driver is aware of everything going on under the hood, all of the gauges were upgraded to VDO instruments.
