This is a 1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 My name is Pat and I am selling my 1972 Camaro SS 396. I will accept the first reasonable offer and end the auction. I have asked Dave to help me out with this. Please call or email Dave with any questions: 813-495-0564. Please make your offer through eBay. Here are notes about the car. Notes about the Car I bought the car brand new in 1972 in Colorado. I am the original and only owner. This is an original numbers matching car. It got hit in the left quarterpanel in 1993. The insurance company totaled it, and and I rebuilt it into a driver. It had a frame off restoration in 2003 with new shocks, springs, and a rebuild on the transmission. The interior was redone as well. I spent 28k on the rebuild. Any rust was replaced with sheet metal. No bondo. The engine was rebuilt in in 1983 and again in 2003. The SS 396 had a 402 engine. It is the original engine The car has high mileage, but has 748 since the rebuild. Has a Muncy 4 speed transmission. The car has spent most of its life in Texas. I swapped out the carb with a Rochester 4 bbl. The AC blows, but not as cold as I would like. It came with a 3:73 rear end, has the 3:43 in it now. There is a scratch on the left rear quarter panel from where I scratched it in the garage with a shovel. The car is located in Logan, OH.
