Here is a 1961 Impala Bubbletop. The car will start and run but the carburetor needs rebuilt. It also does not have brakes. I have replaced the master cylinder, the rear axel brake lines and all three rubber brake lines. Needs the wheel cylinders replaced. This car is not road worthy so it would have to be towed or trailered. It has the original engine and nothing seems to have been messed with. The last inspection sticker was in 1980. The car shows 33558 miles and I believe this is correct. It has the registration cards from 1961 and then the mid to late seventies. The one from 1978 has 32000 miles wrote on it. It also has a receipt from 1961 and the salesman's business card that has a five digit phone number on it, it also has the salesman's home phone number listed on the card, just thought this was neat. It had the original delco spark plug wires on it but they have been replaced to get it started. It also has the original radiator hoses and clamps installed,The interior is in very good original condition with the headliner looking like new. It needs the front fenders and quarter panels patched. It also needs the front floor pans and rocker panels replaced. The front floor brace also needs replaced. The trunk needs two small sections replaced as shown in the photos. All the glass is in good to excellent condition. All the spare tire jack assy is still with the car. It also includes the original hubcaps and five original 14" wheels. It also has the original exhaust on the car. I have tried to honestly describe the car it is over 50yrs old and I am sure it has flaws and other conditions not listed. Only reason for selling is I have to many projects and could use the space. Car is sold as is and where is and does not have any warranty. Buyer is welcome and encouraged to inspect vehicle or have car inspected.
