Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1986 Honda Nighthawk 450 (CB450SC). It was purchased by my father and me in August of 2003 from the second owner. It was ridden by us only from then to the September 2005. It is an excellent starter or commuter bike. It gets great MPG and has good power. The bike has remained in our garage covered and has been started and ran monthly since being off the road. The paint is in good shape with signs of it's age. The paint on the plastic parts has faded a little. The are no signs of it being dropped. The tank is rust free and only has a small ding at the front that is hardly noticeable. Fresh fuel has been ran through it regularly. The right side cover doesn't go to the bike. The original was left on top of a trash can while the battery was being charged years ago and was discarded by the trash man accidentally. The boot lever on the side stand broke off and the previous owner welded a u-bolt in it's place. The engine starts easily and runs strong. The coil was replaced right after we bought the bike as the original would quit firing when it heated up. I had no issues with it afterwards. All of the lights and gauges work properly. The tachometer cable was replaced when we bought the bike with a new Honda OEM cable. The bike could use a tune up and regular maintenance performed before using it on the road. The bike comes with a cover and a set of Chase Harper soft sidebags. It was a very reliable and fun bike years ago. We haven't had time for it and we want it to go to a good home. It has a clean title and a bill of sale will be provided. It is priced to sell. Please look at the pictures. If you have any questions, please let me know.
