I am the owner of Highway 9 Auto Sales in Ponca, Nebraska, a high volume, common sense, old school, and DEBT FREE country used car dealer. We are a licensed, bonded and insured and we sells only local trade ins. We do not buy at auction! I promise you great service before and after the sale, as well as a very clear and accurate description of the vehicle, including any and all faults. I am very easy to reach with any questions, as my cell phone is 712-333-5897. This is an excellent survivor car. It runs awesome. Drives straight down the road, and literally starts, feels, runs, drives perfectly in my opinion. I drove it 30 miles home from where it was traded in and noticed no issues whatsoever. No overheating, runs and idles excellent, great power (for what this is!) and it sounds great too. There's just not much to complain about in any way. The body is excellent and looks all rust free (no bondo either anywhere that I can see). The interior is also very good. Pictures show the undercarriage as well, which is very very very clean. It had a California title when I got it (Rialto, CA) and was registered to the same owner since 11/16/1994 (the title you get will be a Nebraska title in my name). The miles in my opinion are 100% original, but I cannot guarantee it since it's not a 6 digit odometer. The brake and clutch pedals look newer still, and just by the tightness and the condition of the car, I do believe it to be a 30k mile car. The only negatives of the car are that the AC does not work - and I did not have it diagnosed. The compressor is still on the car. The paint is faded and worn from age. The previous owner painted the bottom of it black, and probably put the stripes on too, although it may have been factory too. Whatever was done paint wise, original or not, was done a long time ago, as it has even wear and tear across the car. The seats do have tears in them (see pics). It is not restored, so please don't expect anything other than a 1974 car believed to have 30k miles, that is not restored. Although it's rust free, just figure 99% rust free as you will find a bubble here or there, or surface rust here or there because again, it is not restored. The pictures really do show the car well and every measure was taken to show you the true quality of the car. There are 50 pictures that will load below for you to see all aspects of the car. There are NO fees on top of the price of the vehicle. You pay sales tax in your state. The Nebraska title is CLEAR and CLEAN with no liens or stories and it is in my name, Highway 9 Auto Sales. You will receive the title once the vehicle is paid for. In the meantime, you will also have 30 day in transit dealer tags to drive on to give you time to transfer it to your name. Shipping is the buyers responsibility, however, we are VERY accessible and will assist the transport in any way we can. The vehicle is sold as is and with no warranty. I do reserve the right to end the auction at anytime and for any reason. The car is located inside my classic car storage building for inspection, which you are welcome to do before auction end. I do not have a buy it now price, but you can call me with a fair and serious offer to buy the car. $1000 Deposit (paypal is OK and we also take credit cards) due within 24 hours of auction close and FULL payment due within 3 days of auction close. Cash in person or certified bank check (I would need to verify your bank with a persons name and number to call so that I can be assured it is a legit cashiers check) is fine for the balance. It will come with a full tank of gas, which is how I found out. Also , the shift linkage is very easy to navigate through but does have wear from 40 years of use.
